Panel Discussion: Sustainability in the Jewellery Industry - as part of Sustainable Fashion Week
We are thrilled to be hosting this exciting Panel Discussion as part of Sustainable Fashion Week. Panelists:

Sofie recently completed a PHD becoming the first person ever to lab grow a ruby in situ in a ring. She uses industrial waste or ‘urban mining’ to create precious gemstones from debris while maintaining a clear design aesthetic, synthesising the worlds of art and science. She has been featured on the BBC and as part of Munich Jewellery Week.Anna Mcloughlin - B Corp Jeweller
Anna is a B Corp jeweller who specialises in using strictly post-consumer materials from an off-grid studio. She creates fine jewellery with a dedication to ethics and environment.Stuart Pool - Nineteen48
Stuart supplies fully traceable gemstones from around the world with a dedication to ethical supply chains and artisanal mining and cutting.
Hosted by Kim Thompson of Make it with Kim - Orchard Jewellery Workshop in Kingswood: https://www.makeit.kim/the-studio
This panel discussion will explore topics covering not just our individual and local impact but also context in a global world.
Questions will include:
